Quick Release Buckle Toggle Kit
This is a DIY kit to add our signature pull tab style to any quick release buckle system that accommodates approx 4.3mm or 5/32" inch cording. This kit will work w/ quick release buckles that have a hole sized for standard paracord, such as FirstSpear Tubes© Buckles.
Simply route the paracord through the hole on your buckle and then route both ends of the paracord through a single piece of heat shrink wrap and toggle and tie off the end tightly, butting the toggle to the heat shrink as close as possible. The final step is to then cut the excess cording and then melt the cut end and heat shrink.
**We recommend using a small butane burner and not a lighter when heating/melting. When sealing the cut end of cording, we also recommend to run the butane burner on the cut end to the point it liquifies and puddles. After this occurs, it is advised to then seal the end by pushing down on the puddle toward the knot to then "plastic weld" the cut end of the knot to the body of the knot. This ultimately finalizes/secures the knot.**
